A story coming from our close neighbours Indonesia is about a wealthy Indonesian Muslim cleric "marrying" a 12-year-old little village girl. This paedofile faces jail, but not surpisingly, Islamists say his actions are acceptable and "normal" practice under Islam the religion of peace, but others have pointed out that he might like to take notice of the state law which sets 16 as the minimum age for sex.
State law however, is not something Islamists take notice of.
Sadly, about 90 per cent of Indonesia's 234 million people are Muslim. Nice to have such "friendly" neighbours.
